Restaurants, bars & cafes
Restaurant insurance that keeps the doors open.
A hot kitchen, a full dining room, a delivery driver, and a walk-in freezer full of inventory — every one of those is a different kind of risk. We build coverage around the way your restaurant actually runs, and explain it in plain language.
Independent agency. Licensed in all 50 states. No obligation, no insurance-speak.

What restaurants actually need covered
Full-service, fast casual, bar, cafe, or caterer — the menu changes the details, but nearly every restaurant starts with these four pieces.
General & liquor liability
Slips in the dining room, a guest reaction to a dish, or an incident tied to alcohol service. If you pour, liquor liability is usually its own separate piece — and landlords often require it.
Property, kitchen equipment & breakdown
Hoods, fryers, ranges, refrigeration, and your build-out. Equipment breakdown covers the mechanical failure that a fire or storm policy will not, including spoiled inventory.
Business income
The repair bill is rarely the biggest number. This replaces the income you lose while you are closed and covers the extra costs of reopening faster.
Workers comp & hired auto
Burns and cuts are the most common kitchen claims, and most states require workers comp once you have staff. If anyone delivers or makes supply runs, hired and non-owned auto belongs in the policy.
What drives your price
We won't put a fake number on this page. Restaurant premiums swing widely, so here's what an underwriter actually looks at — and what we'll ask you about.
- Annual sales, and how much of that comes from alcohol
- Whether you have a fryer, flat-top, or open flame, and when the hood was last serviced
- Square footage, seating, and whether you own or lease the space
- Your payroll and the number of employees, including part-time staff
- Delivery, catering off-site, or food truck and event work
- The liability limits your lease or event contracts require
Certificates, landlords, and renewals — handled
Most restaurant insurance headaches aren't claims. A landlord wants proof of liquor liability before you sign. A festival needs a certificate naming them by Friday. Renewal comes back higher and nobody explains why. Because we're independent, we shop multiple carriers for the coverage that fits your kitchen, and you get a real person who turns those requests around fast.
We work with local restaurants, food trucks, and festival vendors, so we've seen the requirements your landlord and event organizers hand out.
